  Aroma, the resort’s cafe, significantly underperforms, meriting a disappointing 2/5 rating. The coffee experience was notably subpar, with improper tamping, an espresso machine that was never correctly dialed in, and no consistency in weighing shots, resulting in highly inconsistent yields. This lack of precision in coffee preparation points to a deficiency in staff expertise or training, a surprising oversight given the professional equipment at their disposal. The pastries and croissants also left much to be desired, lacking in the expected freshness, flakiness, and taste that would elevate the cafe experience. Moreover, a perplexing issue arose during our week long stay where my wife repeatedly found English breakfast tea to be out of stock for 3 days back to back at Aroma, while the restaurant directly above, ‘The Kitchen Table’, seemed to have an ample supply. This inconsistency in stocking essential items, especially in an all-inclusive resort that carries a luxury label and price tag, was baffling and contributed to our dissatisfaction. Such oversights in basic cafe offerings and inventory management significantly detract from the guest experience, underscoring a need for improved staff training and better coordination between the resort’s dining establishments.

  Aroma offers great service and delicious coffee. Akaya greeted us warmly each morning and made delicious lattes that helped kick start our day.

  The first week was great but service has gone down hill continuously running out of English breakfast tea so much so that I had to carry my own teabags which I quite easily got from reception next door The staff are great and very helpful it is down to lack of supply

  Amazing coffee shop. Lots of options for coffee and yummy snacks. Best part - Akaya and Syrena running the show. We started our morning every day for 8 days with these lovelies. Yeah mon!

  Shaoni, Akya, and Dana… EXCELLENT! Ask for their specials were excellent!! And they were really nice to us. Every day and every evening they made us feel special by remembering our names and our orders. We even made jokes and memories together. It was great! :-)
