::The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts is by far one of the most interesting institutions in Jamaica. Personally, I can only speak from an arts students perspective. Once you set out to get you bachelors, whether its for fine arts or education (May the mercy of God be with you #kids_are_evil lol), one has to be prepared to do a lot of things on their own. The lecturers will guide you along the way offering advice here and there. But a majority of the work done will all be based on your own research, trial and error. It can be a fun experience because you will learn new things or better ways of doing things. They have a decent amount of programs to keep you occupied along your 4 year journey. The way I see it, EMC is a very illustrious institution. You just have to find your way and work really hard for what you want. I think what makes this institution great, are the people you meet along the way. from staying up late with a bunch of friend to finish a project, to spending times in an uninhabited classroom with your friend playing video games or discussing things art students like to talk about. You experience can also be based on you, yourself and you.
