::We chose Half Moon as our wedding destination and my husband grew up coming here with his family for 18+ years. It’s a place that holds a special place in our hearts and now even more so. What makes this place magical beyond the gorgeous views, beautifully decorated rooms and delicious food is the attention that the staff pays to each guest. They get to know you, check on you, and want to ensure they’re doing their best to make it an unforgettable trip. We met two couples (separately) on our last night and both had also been married at Half Moon and said they make a point to come back each year to celebrate in their special spot. I think we’ll do the same!!

::I had a very bad experience here where my cell phone was stolen by a Half Moon employee. I was able to track the phone and had proof that it was stolen. When I asked Half Moon to reimburse me for the cost of replacing the phone, they refused. They went on to deny that any staff member stole the phone and accused me of lying. I thought it was a very poorly handled situation for such a resort. The food was also terrible and extremely overpriced and every single beach at the resort was covered in seaweed. You could not go more than 3 or 4 feet into the ocean because it is entirely covered in seaweed. Do not waste your money here. I’ve been to other resorts in Jamaica that are half the price and twice as nice!

::I came during the NMA Region 1 Annual Conference, and it was breathtaking. The exceptional setting, gracious and extending staff, the character of the architecture, and flawless grounds are paradise. The villa staff were so hospitable and took care of our every wishes and needs. I will do what it takes to come back ❤️

::Blown away. We had a little snag in our honeymoon planning and ended up needing a place to stay for one night… we choose Half Moon at the last minute and I wish we would have spent a week here instead of an all inclusive resort. Half Moon is a timeless classic. We were blown away by the service, setting, rooms and food. While Half Moon can be more expensive than an all inclusive it is well worth it. If you want a quiet laid back beach vibe this is the place, if you want an all inclusive party vibe look elsewhere.

::The room and the beach were nice but I almost missed my flight because they didn't activate the key to my room. I was locked outside on the beach and had to walk all over the place and wait forever for service and make several requests to several people for 2h. Then, when the bellman came to shuttle me to the main entrance, he quickly drove off with my laptop, purse, luggage, etc. and said he thought I preferred to walk back and enjoy the view 🤦🏽♀️
