  Would give a higher score but the price is astronomical. Location and setting is beautiful, but everything here is expensive, very expensive. Paying extra for snorkels seems a bit much when you’re paying a lot to stay there. Staff were excellent, the room was great with an outdoor shower! Showering while watching the sunset was pretty cool. Sleeping to the sound of the waves was stunning. Just short of being 5 stars for me.

  Place was absolutely beautiful. Loved it. Room was a smidge sketchy we stayed a few days & had no hot water no matter how many times we told the front desk we had none it was always "we'll check on it" but I mean...we had none. Food is good though, loved breakfast & those macho nachos are a god send in the days between excursions.

  Jake's don't give two shyts about the people of Treasure Beach, even though his employees are all local. Just look at the Paris Hilton situation. Jake's only uses locals, but make no mistake, he's not a local.

  Had dinner here and the service is poor. Despite the great location and the nice hotel, the food was average and very expensive. Ordered a kingfish and received one dry slice of fish for 33$! The curry goat was plenty of bones, but they were kind and brought a second one.

  If you're looking for a rustic, quiet, "off the beaten track" spot to vacation, then Jakes Hotel is the place for you. The rooms are close to the beach and you can hear the waves while you relax and sleep. Go for a swim in the sea, enjoy the scenery, relax. Basic amenities are there... no TV. WiFi is average. Food is good. Not an all inclusive. Ideal for nature lovers.
