  If I could give zero stars I would. THIS IS THE WORST MEDICAL FACILITY YOU COULD VISIT. Go to kph before you come here. I came here with shortness of breath and wheezing. It took them 1hr30mins to put me on a nebulizer and not before my two trips to the cashier. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND MEDICAL ASSOCIATES TO MY WORST ENEMY. I came here at 12:43pm and left and 4. I cannot believe I paid to go through this! 4 patients were seen in the same room that I was in. Worst medical facility ever.

  Its a good hospital to me. It is clean. What also impressed me is that the bathroom was really clean and smel good. The doctor i saw was very welcoming and very professional. Another good thing is that a pharmacy is there, so you can get medication as you finish seeing the doctor.

  I’m not quite sure how a hospital never has any doctors available. If I went with a fatal infection, I’d die before even seeing the receptionist. A private hospital should not be providing worse care than the underfunded pubic alternatives while still charging an arm and a leg (which they would let necrose before noticing that I was in the waiting room). Never again. tl;dr: IF YOU HAVE ANY EMERGENCIES GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. might have better luck going to med school and learning how to treat your ailment yourself because you’d still finish before you get to see a doctor (much less get treated/diagnosed)

  Trying to get information from A&E is a joke. Persons answer the phone says hello then proceed to talk to someone else without even telling me one moment. Secondly, get through to another person and before I could explain my issue I was placed on hold.

  My review was based on a visit to the Lab for annual blood work, My brother a stroke patient was asked when was his last meal and what it consisted of he incorrectly told them a chicken sandwich and was rightfully refused the fasting test I interjected to remind him that he had stewed peas with rice. I explained to the tech his misunderstanding of the time and meals, it went downhill from there. He is not senile she said and have to take what the patient says I told her he is a stroke patient and I prepare his meals and knew of the 10 -14 hr fasting requirements since doing this since 2019 she continued in her condescending and admonishing tone relenting that she will instruct the process be done but she will write chicken sandwich on the report as the last meal. The redeeming stars in the review was that a different tech came and did the draw and was pleasant and understanding. I really don't know how these people retain jobs dealing with the public. Just listen and understand. Be firm but kind and don't seek to punish. There in lies one of the problems with Jamaica today.
