::Mom up there with sis and all now she don't register. And it's a baby, not a big person every nurse she reaches out to its attitude and saying they are busy or cleaning up something. So sad.

::This is absolutely the worst hospital I have ever been in in my entire life. I unfortunately fell sick while on vacation in Jamaica and was brought here for treatment. Prior to my visit, I had taken FOUR consecutive covid test that were all negative, but was still required to take a fifth PCR test upon admittance into the hospital. My results from the test were NEGATIVE and the doctors NEVER gave me a proper diagnosis despite my results showing that I didn't have covid. My attending doctor "Dr. Christian" never tested me for any other symptoms, took any x-rays for pneumonia, etc. and simply stated that what I had was "covid-like" despite the very obvious fact that I DID NOT HAVE COVID. While I understand it is procedure to still check for covid given that we are in a pandemic, what I was also NOT prepared for was this hospital's lack of access to basic resources. I was required to urinate in a recycled pill bottle that was then rinsed out and placed in a bin for later re-use. Due to my nutrient levels, I had to stay overnight, but instead of being given a hospital bed, I was forced to sleep in a reclining chair next to an emergency exit that stayed open letting mosquitos and cicadas in all night. The staff at the hospital had the NASTIEST attitudes when I requested discharge papers, only to find out that they only write up discharge papers for children. I'm not sure if this facility is funded by their government, but it is very clear that they lack the funding needed to provide bare necessities like urination cups and other sterile equipment. If you have a choice, please choose a better hospital (or better yet, don't get sick in Jamaica!) because the staff clearly does not care about the patients, the doctors are incompetent, and the facility lacks basic equipment.

::Friendly and understanding staff members great parking. Port Maria hospital has an effective team working their from the persons that clean to the surgeons. They work together to make the experience a good one. The environment is very easy to navigate. Over the years they have improved on the things they offer (e.g medical procedures and testings).
