Small, boutique hotel, private, elegant, understated luxury. The staff caters to all your needs and leaves you to privacy. Only someone approaching from the sea could see you on the patio and that would be perilous due to the giant rocks. Big up to Kirk the best, most punctual and most patient driver ever!

Trident provides one of the most picturesque vacation experiences in Portland. This complimented with its awe-inspiring villas that are immaculately kept and secluded offering a refined level of relaxation and privacy.I recently celebrated my best birthday with the Trident family. I'd like to specially acknowledge Audia,Trudy-Ann, Shanique, Ramone(Housekeeping), Management and the entire team who truly went above and beyond to make for a memorable experience. Thank you again.

We spent an amazing two nights at the Trident as part of our 20th anniversary trip to Jamaica. It was the nicest room we have ever stayed at. We used the pool day and night. It is a little tricky to get to Port Antonio. We rented a car from Kingston, and it was challenging. But once you were in the oasis of the trident, all of that is let go. The food was very good. The service was very good. If I did it again, I would get a case of red stripes prior to arriving along with some snacks, because those two items drove our bill up quite a bit. We pre-paid for our room and had a little bit of trouble right at the start when the front desk clerk was asking us for payment for the room. It was quickly addressed, and there was no problem. The main pool looking over the ocean was so amazing. The private pool in our villa was amazing. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner including room service, and didn't have a complaint at all about the food. Apparently we ran them out of pizza. We would definitely go back.
