  I stayed at the resort last weekend April 29 - May 1, 2022 and I had to comment! It was great, it was pleasant, it was memorable. I was cautious initially based on the past reviews but Ryan, Charmaine, Orville & the rest of the team were amazing. Thank you for making the stay pleasurable. The property was looking good. Thx you guys for a great stay. I will be back!

  Hello 👋, Listen this is a honest honest review. We try to support small business owners and I and my family tend to give business owners the benefit of the doubt. Please be known that we are foreigners from the USA 🇺🇸 and it is possible our expectations may be a little higher than a locals was, from seeing the reviews here. I am purely writing this review for the owners and staffs knowledge in hopes that foreigners like myself would NOT⛔️ever be bamboozled by such a owner and this property in the future. Once we try to let the issues with the facility slide, the family couldn’t bare with allowing her to benefit from us or future clients without being told of the major issues going on with this property. 🚨🚨⛔️⛔️ We had multitude of issues: Rooms not ready per original contracted stay. Linens not provided. Cleaning not provided. TVs non working. AC Non-working in JULY 🥵 🔥 . Pool never cleaned with chemicals (FYI it is not a salt water pool). Barking dog outside of the windows that says on the property at 5am on daily. Electricity ⚡️ is pre-paid and the owner only pays for what she believes will be sufficient so power shut off daily (and yes we had newborns and Children with us with no ac). Windows unable to shut resulting in preset infestation throughout the night. Popcorn ceiling chipping off and failing onto us during the night. Paint on everybody body parts and clothing from walking around the property. Water leak in room when raining. Water leak in hallways when raining. Fridge shut off due to electricity ⚡️ resulted in a major loss of food for a huge party of people (owner was kind enough to reimburse with smaller portion not equal to the original purchase 🤔) Staff was NOT educated on hospitality or BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Dirt everywhere on windows, bedding, bathrooms. No water pressure in bathrooms. Some bathrooms partially renovated the others not renovated at all. A window fell off hinges. We got blamed for stealing “photos” which are trash and I shared the art work 🖼 in the photos why would anyone want to steal this? Please save yourself a headache from Charmaine and her CON-like reviews to persuade you in staying in this property. The property is a great location and has potential, but bottom line is that Charmaine either has to change herself or the property management has to change. They are loosing touch of reality by incentivizing people to post positive reviews and not making the needed repairs and business corrections to make this property really thrive. 🚨🚨🚨DO NOT STAY HERE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU WILL THANK ME LATER 🚨🚨🚨 Sorry 🙏 Charmaine we know you are trying but the public needs to be aware of the issues you are facing in advance and transparently!

  This is the most wonderful place you can ever go to experience beautiful vacation I can tell you. I stayed there about 3 days I was there Wednesday to Friday and it was so amazing the rooms was already ready the A/C was very cold 🥶 there was a lot of towels for every used. It was just so beautiful I love the rooms and I really love the pool Area, if your looking a place to get away at or looking to go on a vacation with friends or family or your girlfriend or just your self somewhere in Jamaican I recommend you to book here, your going to love it I can tell you. And 2 this was not my first time going there so I can tell you that book here it would be amazing for you and if you know anyone wants someone to stay or book for a weekend book here,Your going to love it, go and experience what I am saying and you will see the Beauty in the place and they also have free wifi on its very fast so go and enjoy your self here. I will be going back very soon. So big up View of the Ocean Resort I love it here and I have been there more than once so I know it’s the most wonderful and beautiful place to be at and I will be coming back soon.   My stay at the Ocean Resort was EXCELLENT!!! Their staff was welcoming and accommodating. The property was well groomed and the atmosphere was relaxing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, comfortable and the fixtures worked. Great getaway for the family or with a group of friends. It is definitely a visit again kind of place. We all loved it.

  My experience with View of the Ocean Resort has been nothing but Spectacular. As one of the organizers for the JADAC Festival, which we recently held at View of the Ocean Resort for the past two years - Feb. 2018 and 2019, I am nothing but pleased with the service that was provided by the management and staff and can see that every effort was made to make our stay there nothing but GREAT. For the past two years, we have rented the entire resort for five days to accommodate more than 30 guests including adults and children and we are planning to return there again in February 2020, God Willing. View of the Ocean Resort provided the perfect space to accommodate all of our needs from dancing outdoors on the lawn, drumming in the open space in the living area, 3 kitchens with clean cooking facilities to provide meals for all of our guests, area spaces for our vendors, yoga in the sea bath, aqua dance in the pool, children's classes in the main house open area, All-white pool party, movie night, and topped off with Sunday Prayer Circle and Festival Presentations and so much more. Since our first visit there in February 2018, I can see that every room has been freshly updated and improvements made all around, new bedding, new draperies, etc.. The grounds were properly kept and freshly painted, the pools clean, the kitchens immaculate and furniture in the open spaces updated. The View of the Ocean Resort is not a big hotel chain, but a family run business that provides jobs for the local community. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful and is not overbearing and does not get in our way during our stay there. I have worked with Charmaine Bell for the past two years and recently with her son Ryan and I am pleased with the services they provide or I would not be returning there with 30 plus guests.
