::Food was absolutely delish. But we waited 1.5hrs to get it and ended up leaving with one dish wrapped up because it wasnât finished until right as we were departing. Prices are also high, $14,500 Jamaican for 3 dishes w 2 sides. No prices on the menu so we were shocked at the end. Especially since the ambiance is down-homey and a bit dirty. Probably wouldnât go back because of the service and prices.

::Perfect. Chris is an amazing cook and the food is fresh, wonderfully seasoned, and tasty. After a long travel on the road, the authentic cooking was a welcoming to the tummy. As we waited for the food, we sat by the ocean watching the waves as they crashed repeatedly against the shoreline as 2 little children played on the beach. You can smell the spices from the small kitchen, and hear the reggae music playing in the background. If you want authentic Jamaican cuisine, this is a really cool place to visit, eat, and enjoy Jamaica.

::We came here for a late lunch on a Thursday. It was very quiet and for someone from the US, it may seem weird but you need to keep your mind open and stay optimistic. We were the only people there other than a couple people swimming in the shore and the owner. We had a couple of Jamaican beers. I am not a beer drinker so she gave me a âgirlieâ Jamaican brew that had sorrel. I liked it! I got the foil fish and my fiancĂ© got calamari and fried shrimp. Both were delicious! It was a cool experience and I wanted to return every day! I watched them bring wood from outside to heat the grill and she showed me my fish before cooking it. While we waited, we enjoyed the views of the bay and stepped into the water. There were huge fish near the shore that they feed scraps to. I highly recommend!!! A few locals sat with us and talked for a bit too.

::This was such a great place! I wish we would have found it sooner as this was the last day we were going to be in the area before we drove out towards Kingston. We were staying in the Ocho Rios area and with way too many tourist traps we wanted to get away from the beaten path. With some great reviews we decided to give this place a try! Definitely not disappointed, with just a few tables right off the beach it feels like your own hidden oasis. Donât be discouraged by the area you will definitely not be disappointed. Beautiful beaches, delicious food, cold drinks. We tried the Escoviche fish and rung dung conch, WOW. Paired with some Campari and dragon stout for the ultimate Jamaican experience!
