  Visited with my family summer 2023. Had a great time. Restaurants are amazing. Staff very helpful n kind. Got a mani pedi at the spa. Felt so good. Excellent spa staff. Very attentive. Beautiful property. Enjoyed the piano bar. Pools are beautiful. Will definitely recommend n go back again.

  Used to love this property, before they only allowed 2 people per room. It's a family resort! Whose ever heard of reserving a room solely for 1 child, 8 years old??? Or yet what if he were 2 or 3??? . Also the rooms used to be more comfortable, offering a couch in the sitting room, not 2 chairs. Very unhappy, will be giving my business to better true family resorts with more comfort for your buck.

  I am a frequent visitor to Jamaica; this was my first time at Jewel Paradise Cove. The grounds are well manicured, the rooms APPEARS to be clean. You have several restaurant choices, the spa is GREAT!! It has the potential to be a five or four star resort for all practical purposes. Unfortunately, things are not always how they appear. Until I switched rooms for three nights I was getting bitten by "something" while sleeping. The manager stated an investigation was completed and nothing was found. After switching rooms I did not wake up with 3-4 bites in a pattern on various parts of my body. I submitted paperwork from the local clinic & the resort still denied an infestation in the room. The website advertises a discount on certain immedities if you book directly with the hotel. After utilizing the services and receiving the bill the discount was not applied. When I mentioned the discrepancy an inclusion was mentioned and was attempted to be used to deny me the discount. Also, Services are advertised that Jewels Runaway Bay no longer provides. If you book an ocean view room make sure you ask for a room with a minimum obstructed view as possible or you will be looking at trees. The dessert is GREAT! The taste & variety. The food at the buffet was always luke-warm & they don't have a microwave. You can order some items off the grill, but the line is always extremely long for those items. The pools are great. If it was not for getting bit by bug while I was sleeping, false advertising, not honoring promotions, and luke-warm food my stay was great. The majority of the staff was SUPER!! I would not stay at Jewel Paradise Cove again. I cannot recommend it due to the health concerns.

  Want to give a big shout out to Tamale! She does an excellent job. Keep up the good work my dear. Also want to extend a big thank you to all the workers especially the dining room servers for being so polite and hardworking. My husband and I spent just a few days there and we had a great time. There are a few things that we weren’t pleased about but overall we had a wonderful and time.

  Just got back from a fantastic trip. The resort is small enough that you can find your way around easily, but large enough that you have variety. First there is Janice, the best bartender I have ever met, make sure you tell her I say “hello” and try her ladder of drinks, also encourage her to make a ladder with shots (someone give this lady a raise or another day off). Then there is the entertainment staff, I am so sorry but I’m terrible with names, you know who you are. What a good looking fun bunch you are, had so much fun with you all. I will agree that the rooms need a little work, most of the bathroom doors don’t shut, but the staff make up for the facility, I can’t say enough great things about them. If you ever need a cab anywhere ask Shaneka (restaurant manager) for Cole, he is the kindest man you will ever meet. Thank staff for such an awesome vacation. xoxo
