::Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and everyday life at home, Geneva and Sean manage to create a great atmosphere in their retreat that takes me back to the ground of the facts. I already felt at home after one day and in this place I realized again what is really important to me and what life is really about. If you need a break, I would highly recommend this Jamaican mountain retreat, as you really feel like you're on holiday relaxing and not being stressed out by your new surroundings (as unfortunately is often the case on holiday). The hosts always try to make your stay as pleasant as possible and give you access to real Jamaican life. Far away from the superficial world of tourists. They really take good care of you and protect you from one or the other unpleasant experience. You are part of the whole, including children, dogs and friends of the family. All this is what makes this place so special and never makes me regret choosing the Good Hope Retreat. A stay you will never forget!

::What an amazing hidden gem we are so happy we found!! One of our favorite stays we’ve had in any country. Geneva and Sean are so welcoming and wonderful. Geneva is a wonderful cook!! The cottage is so peaceful there are not words to describe it. We enjoyed our quiet two days, reading and reconnecting with nature. The fireflies at night bring me back to when I was a child, running around trying to catch them in a glass jar. The air is so pure up on the mountain and everyone is so kind. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of the beaches, please stay with Geneva!!! Such a wonderful experience!!

::The property was Awesome! This was my first time ever in a Cabin in the mountains and It was a Great Experience for me. The Food was Delicious. Geneva and Sean are Dope and I Really Enjoyed my stay. I Definitely would Recommend Good Hope Retreat to others for a Nice Getaway Vacation!🤗

::Sean and Geneva were great hosts. The cottage was cute and comfortable. Please be aware than you are staying way up the mountain and amongst nature. There will be lizards around along with small ants and such but nothing too out of the ordinary. The balcony view was amazing! Great place to stay off the grind enjoy some peace and quiet and be among the people.

::This was my first time staying in a cabin in the mountains but my experience was great.Definitely planning on going back to this place in the future. The host were great,very kind and friendly and make sure of their guests safety comes first. The place is very safe and secure.Nice view and very nice cool weather up high in the mountains. No ac needed the entire week we spent at the beginning of October and seems to be cool year round at that altitude. Very relaxing place with hummingbird flying around and lush vegetation and tropical fruit that you can hand pick.Cabins are rustic and private. Perfect place to meditate or get away from everything.Had fun with the host kids. Missing them now as they are very jovial and well behaved. Good hope retreat is a must go on your bucket list. Loved the name as it was meaningful to us during our mission.
