This place has water issues. Imagine living in a permanent rental where you haven't showered in over a month. Total not hygienic. It's a big house and there are only two small water tanks on the roof. The blue drums on the bottom floor at the back are always filthy with food or debris. I understand that the Norwood area itself has water issues itself but I believe the landlord can make more efforts in his tenants having running water even if it just twice weekly or something. Showering from a bucket for weeks is not healthy. This property has an amazing roof top that can be bragged about. The seating area are rickety and ran down. If it wasn't for the water issues this place could have been an easy 4 stars however water if life.

This was my second time staying at this villa. The first was, interesting but within a few days , warm and welcoming. That was last year. I have recently returned from Jamaica and I again stayed at the Villa. IT WAS AMAZING! The upgrades and safety precautions were impressive. The staff, especially Ryan, the cook-bell boy- always on hand 👫 made me extremely happy to have returned 😀 😄. All of the staff members were warm hearted ♥ and definitely 👍 go out of their way to help. I love 💘 💗 this place! Cudos

Let's start with the ugly. The hotel is horribly outdated and the room was abysmal. The bed was rock-hard, the sheets had a hole in them, and the sink was a water drink dispenser rather than a regular spigot. The shower was barely trickling, so I went without a shower. In addition, the hotel and the surrounding areas were constantly noisy throughout the night and day. Don't go here looking for relaxation. You won't find it. I was charged twenty USD for the airport transportation, which, according to their website is "available to guests" (Sounds complimentary, right? Think again!) and then, when I asked for a simple meal, was served goat curry with more bones than meat (flavor was great, quality was not), and was charged an more than fifteen USD for that—which would likely be less than $8 anywhere else. It was a rip-off point blank. Spend your money on a nicer hotel. You'll find it more worth your while. I'm almost certain I was the only guest at the time, which made the tension between the hotel staff and owners even more apparent. It was awkward and not altogether welcoming. However, Lenroy, the shuttle driver, was exceedingly nice and showed me around town. He, and the view of the bay, may have been the shining gem in an otherwise dismal situation. I cannot recommend this hotel. I've paid 20 for a hostel room before and not expected much, but spending over $100 altogether, you expect the experience to be a lot different. It was unnecessarily stressful and not at all what a vacation should be.

Absolutely not what I was expecting. The toilet tank in the room is was in could not refill automatically. The toilet door in the room could not close. The rooftop area was not clean. The hot tub was full of water containing algae. The room did not smell clean. The people were friendly but that alone was not enough to make up for the overall quality of the rooms and amenities.

This was the WORST experience I have ever came across in my life far as hotel wise. Me And my family decided to go to Jamaica for my Birthday which was April 3rd. It was so last minute so we booked this hotel through Expedia. We arrived April 5th and was supposed to stay until April 10th. So upon arrival the ‘shuttle’ to the hotel was late and we waited a good 30 mins at the airport . Getting there it looked a little weird but we still went with it. Inside we realized we would be staying in someone’s home but at the top of the house. The room was very small, it wasn’t dirty or didn’t have a smell or anything so again, we said ok and went with it Because we paid for It.. Now, the AC barely worked the WiFi was trash and let me tell you about the bathroom. The water pressure was so low it felt like we were showering from a water fountain. The water never got hot, the toilet barely flushed and it was jus horrible. We called them To our room at least 2-3 times and they said “sometimes the city turns off the water”. Moving forward, The lady and her family was really nice but it was so unprofessional and to be honest it’s a scam. The hot tub was FILTHY and had dead bugs in it. Anywhere we went was 20 dollars jus one way even to go up the street. The first night when they picked us up from the bar they told us they needed to stop at the store. They had their whole family and we Ended up waiting in the car for over an hour to where we fell asleep. Back at the hotel we asked for clean sheets and never received them. We also realized we were getting bit. Not sure if it was bed bugs because we checked and didn’t see anything. Once we Asked could we get our money back for the days we did not want to stay and they told us no, we knew we had to leave. So the next day April 6th we ended up going to the Hilton spa and resort and had a great time in Jamaica after we left that hell hole. I even called Expedia and asked them to remove this hotel from their site and they are ‘looking into it’. But anyways DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. But then again you do get what you pay for. If you don’t mind loud kids, people outside your room door yelling, smoking, drinking, giving hair cuts or hearing their washer and dryer in the middle of the night then go for it. Negative 10 stars.
